Deleting your account
Anyone with a TintMeta login can delete it themselves, in the mobile app or on the web dashboard. A shop’s last owner can ask for the whole shop to be deleted.
Delete your login
- Sign in to TintMeta (the app, or the dashboard on the web).
- Open the menu and tap your name and role at the bottom.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE, enter your password, and confirm.
If you are clocked in, clock out first. Your login is removed right away and can’t be recovered; if you work for the shop again, it can invite you again.
What is deleted, and what the shop keeps
- Deleted: your login and password, your devices’ notification and calling registrations, your settings, your Assistant chats, and your to-dos and the tasks given to you. Your email, phone number and photo are removed from your team profile.
- Kept by the shop: its business records you worked on (jobs, quotes, invoices, payments, customer messages and calls), and your hours, pay and time-off history under your name only, which the shop needs for payroll and its legal records.
Delete a whole shop
A shop can’t be left without an owner, so the last owner doesn’t delete their login on its own — they ask for the shop to be deleted: tap your name → Request shop deletion, or email support@tintmeta.com from the owner’s address. We confirm with every owner of the shop, then within 30 days delete the shop’s workspace — its customers, jobs, invoices, messages, call records and every login — and release its phone number. Records the law requires us to keep (such as payment records) are kept only as long as required. Until then you can cancel the request in the app.
Customers of a shop
If you booked with a shop that uses TintMeta, your information belongs to that shop — ask the shop to delete it, or email support@tintmeta.com and we’ll pass your request on and help. See our Privacy Policy.
