Terms of Service
Effective October 21, 2026
These terms govern the use of TintMeta — the website, the web dashboard and the TintMeta mobile app — by the businesses that subscribe to it (“shops”) and the people a shop invites to use it (“staff”). TintMeta is operated by King's Window Tint & Clear Bra LLC, doing business as TintMeta (“TintMeta”, “we”, “us”). By creating or using an account you agree to these terms; if you use TintMeta for a shop, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.
The service & your subscription
TintMeta is business software for window tint and automotive styling shops: online booking, scheduling, quoting, invoicing, customer messaging and calling, team tools and an AI assistant. A shop’s subscription, its price and its billing period are set in the shop’s order or plan with TintMeta. Subscriptions are arranged directly with TintMeta, not through an app store; the mobile app is a companion for staff of a shop that already has an account. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing. We may change the service, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce it or change your price.
Accounts & invitations
Staff accounts are created by invitation from a shop’s owner or manager; the shop decides each person’s role and what they can see and do. Keep your password private and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account, and the shop is responsible for the people it invites. You can delete your own login at any time from the app (tap your name → Delete my account); see Deleting your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use TintMeta to break the law, or to send spam or messages people did not agree to receive;
- upload content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful, harassing or deceptive;
- try to reach another shop’s data, probe or disrupt the service, or get around its security or limits;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
We may suspend access that puts the service, other shops or the public at risk.
Customer data
The information a shop keeps in TintMeta about its customers — contacts, vehicles, jobs, quotes, invoices, messages, calls and photos — belongs to the shop. TintMeta processes it on the shop’s behalf, only to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The shop is responsible for having the right to collect that information and for honoring its customers’ requests about it; we will help where we can.
Texting & calling compliance
Messages and calls a shop sends through TintMeta are the shop’s own. The shop is responsible for following the laws and carrier rules that apply to them — including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), A2P 10DLC registration, and getting and keeping consent before texting. When someone replies STOP, our texting provider blocks further texts to them from that sending number; the shop must honor every opt-out on every number it texts from. Call recording and transcription must follow the consent rules where the shop and its callers are. See our SMS Terms.
Payments
Card payments a shop takes from its customers through TintMeta are processed by Square under the shop’s own Square account and Square’s terms. TintMeta is not a party to those payments and does not hold the funds. The shop is responsible for its prices, taxes, refunds and disputes with its customers.
The AI assistant
TintMeta’s assistant drafts replies, quotes and bookings and can answer calls when a shop turns that on. It can make mistakes: the shop should review what it sends and is responsible for the prices and commitments it makes to its customers.
No warranty
TintMeta is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every message or call will be delivered.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TintMeta will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount the shop paid TintMeta for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Termination & your data
A shop may stop using TintMeta at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or goes unpaid, with notice where practical. Before a shop leaves it can ask us for an export of its data. An owner can ask for the whole shop to be deleted from the app or by emailing us; we confirm with the shop’s owners and delete it within 30 days, keeping only what the law requires us to keep.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the effective date above and tell shops by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use TintMeta after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state and federal courts located in Indiana, and you and TintMeta agree to their jurisdiction.
